PEGASUS PP
Pegasus PP is a single-wall polypropylene system designed for gas and oil condensing boilers, designed for wet operation at pressures up to 200 Pa and a maximum operating temperature of 120°C.
It serves as a chimney liner for condensing boilers and complements the air-flue system in chimney sections where no additional air duct is required.
It connects to the MKPS Invest steel air-flue system (creating the MK HYBRYD system) or to the Pegasus PP PS air-flue system.
Pegasus polypropylene systems connect to steel MK systems in a STEEL+PP configuration (using the Connect seal for the MK Hybryd system), but do not connect to the PP+STEEL configuration (due to different casing dimensions).

Informed Choice
Due to varying legal interpretations regarding the use of polypropylene in chimney systems in Poland, MK recommends using steel throughout the chimney system, as it is non-flammable and clearly compliant with regulations. However, some legal interpretations suggest the use of PP components in chimney systems for condensing boilers. Before deciding to purchase and install a PP chimney, please review the regulations or consult with the entities authorized to approve the chimney for operation. Due to varying interpretations of legal regulations, MK is not responsible for the technical inspection of chimneys with PP components.
