Neutralizers

Oil and gas installations produce condensate with an acidic pH. To enable its discharge into the sewage system, it is necessary to neutralize it to an appropriate level. Neutralizers are used for this purpose. They are constructed from granules placed in a basket and enclosed in stainless steel. When condensate flows through the granules, its pH becomes neutral at around 6.5. It is then directed into the wastewater system.

Effective Neutralization of Acidic Condensate

Condensate accumulating in chimney ducts is exposed to moisture. Combined with harmful substances in the exhaust gases, it forms acidic compounds that can be very hazardous. Primarily, they pose a significant risk to the durability and integrity of the installation. Using high-quality neutralizers helps reduce the risk of damage to the ducts.
These components are most commonly used in highly efficient cogeneration systems.
